Starting Classes…

So, I’m registered for classes at CGMA. Trying to further my skills. Community, I think, definitely helps with that and it’s something I’ve been lacking for quite some time.

It’s not a firm¬†commitment to finish the whole 1.5 year course, but that IS the intention. My thing is, I work 40 hours a week. I’m progressing greatly at my job. And its actually something I like. I am in a position where even if nothing comes of me taking this class (Job wise), I already have a job with ample room for growth both in skill and finance in a technical field. So I’m good either way.

Plus I’m not bad at this. I’m not the best by any means. Not even close. But I’m also not sculpting stick figures either. I love learning about anatomy. And the lack of recent practice is causing me to forget the names of some of the superficial muscles.

I don’t want to lose the skill and knowledge I’ve obtained thus far. So I signed up for this course. The first two classes (5 weeks each, taken one at a time) are about anatomy. First 5 weeks is the upper body. Then the second class is lower body and bringing together the entire form.

I’m going to try and keep this updated as I go through the class. But in the end, I do work full time AND do this class work. So updating this throughout is lowest priority. But I will try.

Thanks for reading. And feel free to stop by anytime over the course of the next 10 weeks.
